I began an apprenticeship in January 1990 at Sunset Strip Tattoo in Hollywood, California where I worked my craft for 14 years. During my time there, I tattooed many celebrities of different sorts. Please see “Celebrity List”.

I later worked at Shamrock Social Club for a couple of years, gaining insight from different artists.

Then I opened my first shop, Subculture Tattoo in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles in 2004.

In 2010 I made the decision to move to Amsterdam, and had fun working at a couple of shops in the city, before opening a new, different Subculture Tattoo in the beautiful Jordaan district in September 2015.
